D-8 Aviation Experts participated in Flight Procedure Design Workshop in Iran

A workshop was organized by Islamic Republic of Iran’s Aerospace Organization for the D-8 Countries in Civil Aviation Industry from 3 to 7 November 2013 in Tehran, Iran. The workshop covered various aviation topics including designing flight procedures and enclosed subjects like the needs of the pilots and controllers to increase staff familiarity with the system and with the types and reasons of flight procedure designing. 
The workshop was aimed to give the participants a better opportunity to provide improved services regarding flight procedure designing. Such workshops will definitely pave the way for the enhancement of instructions and development of aerospace industry’s know-how among the D-8 Countries. 
D-8 activities in Civil Aviation cooperation have proved to be very promising. With a population around 1 billion, 15% of world population, there is abundance of technical and qualified human resources and opportunities available in this field among D-8 community. This potential necessitates us to focus our attention even more as we proceed to consolidate our commonalities for the potential on air transportation between the D-8 Member Countries in the future.
