The D-8 Organization for Economic Cooperation signed an MoU with the Asian Mayors Forum to set the framework of cooperation between the two organizations

On 3 September 2021, Ambassador Ahmar Ismail the Director of Administrative , Legal and Internal issues at the D-8 Organization signed on behalf of H. E Ambassador Dato’ Ku Jaafar Ku Shaari the Secretary General of the organization , the MoU with Dr. Goshtasb Mozaffari the Secretary General of the Asian Mayors Forum. The signing of the MoU took place in an official ceremony at the D-8 headquarter in Istanbul.
The MoU aims at establishing cooperation between the two organizations in capacity building and technical assistance as well as the implementation of joint projects and programs.
