Secretary-General Seyed Ali Mohammad Mousavi attended the Presidential handover ceremony of the 12th President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdo?an.
Secretary-General Mousavi congratulated President Erdogan on his presidency and was looking forward to continuing to work with him.He also expressed high hope that Turkeys engagement with the D-8 will be more intensive than ever before with his Presidency after the upcoming 9th Summit this year Turkey would assume the Chair of the D-8 for the second time.
President Erdo?an was elected as the President of Turkey, presidential election held on 10 August 2014.
