On the occasion of the 45th Session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), the D-8 Secretary-General, Ambassador Dato’ Ku Jaafar Ku Shaari met Mr. Bekir Bozdağ, Hon’ble Deputy Prime Minister of Turkey on 5th May 2018 in Dhaka.

Deputy Prime Minister Bekir Bozdağ congratulated the Secretary-General for his appointment as the new Secretary-General of D-8 and expressed confidence that his cognate experience and leadership qualities would help in achieving the D-8 agenda.

Amb. Ku Jaafrar sought Deputy Prime Minister’s support in furthering the common agenda to consolidate the partnership among the Member States.

Deputy Prime Minister assured the D-8 Secretary-General that Turkey remains committed to advancing the vision and objectives of the Organization in order to contribute to the upliftment of life and living standards of the peoples of its Member States.
