Secretary-General expressed his condolences to the victims of the terrorist assaults in Tehran

Dr. Seyed Ali Mohammad Mousavi, the D-8 Secretary-General signed the book of condolences at the Consulate General of the Islamic republic of Iran in Istanbul in honour of the victims of the terrorist attacks on the Parliament and Imam Khomeini’s Mausoleum in Tehran. 
The Secretary-General expressed his heartfelt condolences to the victims’ families and expressed his support to the Government and people of Iran at this trying moment. He penned the following message in the condolence register:
“We join the people of the Islamic Republic of Iran in denouncing terrorism and pray for the repose of the souls of the victims of these shocking incidents. May the Almighty Allah give the bereaved family of the departed souls the strength to bear the loss of their most beloved ones. I extend to you my heart-felt sympathy and deepest condolences and through you to the families whose dear ones have lost their lives. We pray for the speedy and wholesome recovery of the injured ones. Our thoughts and prayers are with them.”.
