The People’s Republic of Bangladesh ratified the D-8 Charter. The Instrument of Ratification had been signed on 08 November 2016 and deposited with the Secretariat on 20 December 2016. Bangladesh, founding member of the Developing 8 Organization for Economic Cooperation (D-8), signed the D-8 Charter in November 2012.
So far, Peoples Republic of Bangladesh, Arab Republic of Egypt, Islamic Republic of Iran and Islamic Republic of Pakistan ratified the D-8 Charter and deposited the Instruments of Ratification to the Secretariat.
Dr. Seyed AliMohammad Mousavi, D-8 Secretary-General, warmly welcomed the ratification of the D-8 Charter by the Member States and urged other Member States to expedite their internal procedure for the ratification.
