Indonesian Ambassador to Turkey Visited D-8 Secretariat

Mrs. Nahari Agustini, Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to the Republic of Turkey, paid a farewell visit to the D-8 Secretary General, Dr. Seyed AliMohammad Mousavi on 12 September 2014 at the D-8 Secretariat. 
During the meeting, the two interlocutors exchanged fruitful discussion on the role of Indonesia to D-8 as well as furthering development within the D-8 Organization.
Mousavi praised Indonesia’s active role in the D-8 as one of the founding Members of the Organization. He also appreciated the critical role of Indonesia in furthering common agenda in areas of cooperation. He congratulated Ambassador Nahari for successful completion of the recent Presidential election in Indonesia and hoped that the new leadership would be equally and more enthusiastically supportive of the D-8 cooperation. 
Mousavi deeply hoped that the new President of Indonesia would attend the 9th D-8 Summit to be held in December 2014 in Turkey. 
Agustini appreciated the Secretary-General for his active and dynamic role in furthering the D-8 agenda. She noted that the D-8 was undertaking many activities in order to consolidate development cooperation. She hoped that these activities would pave grounds for the enhancement of the D-8 cooperation. 
Mousavi thanked Nahari for all her support and cordial cooperation during her office in Ankara and wished her health and success in coming days. He also expressed confidence that the succeeding Ambassador would be equally supportive of the D-8 activities.
