According to a recent communication from the Ministry of Industry and Foreign Trade of the Arab Republic of Egypt, the country has recently reinforced its regulation in the products and goods standardization area. To this end, the Egyptian Organization for Standardization has been assigned as the sole competent and authorized agency to put the HALAL mark in the Egyptian market.
