The Director-General of the Statistical, Economic and Social Research and Training Centre for Islamic Countries (SESRIC), a subsidiary organ of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Ambassador Musa Kulakl?kaya paid a courtesy call on the D-8 Secretary-General, Ambassador Dato’ Ku Jaafar Ku Shaari on 12 March 2018 at the D-8 Secretariat. The Director-General was warmly received by the D-8 Secretary-General.

During the visit, the two officials exchanged views on a wide range of issues. These include customization of data on tourism for the D-8 by SESRIC as well as cooperation in the area of training, capacity building and knowledge sharing and technical cooperation. Ambassador Kulakl?kaya reaffirmed the commitment of his Centre to work closely with the D-8 Organization for Economic Cooperation.
