The Secretary-General of D-8, H.E. Ambassador Dato’ Ku Jaafar Ku Shaari, on Tuesday, 2nd October, 2018, paid a visit to Anadolu Agency Headquarters in Ankara of Turkey. He met with the Deputy Director-General of the Agency, Mr. Mustafa Ozkaya and discussed the need for the support and assistance of Anadolu Agency to the D-8 in its publicity drive.

Briefing Ambassador Ku Shaari on his agency’s activities, Ozkaya said the Agency is a world-class news agency that is ranked among the top ten in the world. He added that the Agency operates in 13 languages and has offices all around the world.

The Secretary-General expressed his appreciation to Mr. Ozkaya for the support and assistance of Anadolu Agency in improving the image and publicity of the D-8. He also congratulated the Agency for its commendable new gathering and dessimination activities around the world. He also briefed Mr. Ozkaya on the acvitites and projects of the D-8 that are aimed at economic advancement of the Member States.

The two officials also agreed on signing a partnership agreement between the D-8 and Anadolu Agency in order to make Anadolu Agency the voice of the D-8 in the world.
