The D-8 Secretary-General Seyed AliMohammad Mousavi attended the ceremony on the occasion of the 91st anniversary of the proclamation of the Republic of Turkey.
Hosted by the President of Turkey, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the ceremony was attended by Parliament Speaker Cemil Cicek, Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu, Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavu?o?lu, as well as other cabinet ministers, politicians, military officials, bureaucrats, artists, scientists, business figures as well as foreign diplomats.
Secretary-General Mousavi congratulated President Erdogan on the occasion of the Republic Day. He also expressed high hope that Turkeys engagement with the D-8 will be more intensive than ever before during his Presidency.
