The Secretary-General of the D-8 Organization, H.E. Ambassador Dato’ Ku Jaafar Ku Shaari hosted a luncheon for representatives from embassies of Member States and other D-8 stakeholders at Hilton Hotel, in Ankara, Turkey, on 27th March, 2019. The luncheon was attended by following individuals:

The D-8 Secretary-General thanked all the invitees for their attendance of the luncheon and briefed them about new initiatives as well as developments in the sectoral areas of cooperation of the Organization. He described the current period as the second lifecycle of the Organization and stressed the importance of enhancing cooperation among Member States through the private sector which he said is the engine growth and development.
On their part, the invitees also thanked the D-8 Secretary-General for the invitation to attend the luncheon as special guests and stressed the importance of the D-8 Organization and its efforts to engender economic cooperation and development among Member States.
Furthermore, the Secretary-General Ambassador Ku Jaafar and all the participants wished H.E. Ambassador Musa Kulaklıkaya, Secretary-General of SESRIC, success in his new position as Deputy Secretary-General in Organization for Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
