Ambassador Sahebzada Ahmed Khan, D-8 Commissioner of Pakistan and current Chair of the Commission, paid his maiden visit to the D-8 Secretariat on 09 October 2015 and called on Dr. Seyed AliMohammad Mousavi, D-8 Secretary-General. 

During the meeting, the two interlocutors exchanged fruitful discussion on the activities of the organization. They agreed that enhanced engagement by the Member States would foster economic ties and strengthen network in all areas of cooperation. They also discussed issues to be discussed in the upcoming special session of the D-8 Commission.

Mr. Khan is visiting Turkey to attend the special session of the D-8 Commission scheduled on 10 and 11 October 2015.
