The Consul General of the Consulate General of Malaysia, in Istanbul, Turkey H.E. Tengku Mohd Dzaraif Raja Abdul Kadir was on a courtesy call to the D-8 Secretariat on 24^th of August 2020. He was warmly welcomed by the Secretary-General, H.E. Ambassador Dato’ Ku Jaafar Ku Shaari. He was accompanied by Consul, Ms. Syarifah Nor Amirah Syed Shamsudin.

Mr. Tengku, Consul General, reaffirmed his country’s commitment as one of the valued and founding Members of the Developing Eight Organization for Economic Cooperation and promised to work closely with the Secretariat in order to advance the development agenda and promote economic ties among the friendly D-8 Member States.

During the meeting, both officials exchanged views on recent developments and future engagements. They agreed that enhanced engagement by the Member States would foster economic ties and strengthen network in all areas of cooperation.
