The Developing Eight Organization for Economic Cooperation (D-8) Secretary-General, H.E. Ambassador Isiaka Abdulqadir Imam, received a delegation from the National Management College (NMC) of Pakistan to the D-8 Secretariat in Istanbul on 16 January ,2023. The delegation, who are course participants at the College was led by Dr. Muhammad Shoaib Akbar, the Directing Staff, National Management College.

While thanking the delegation for the visit to the D-8 Secretariat, the D-8 SG briefed the August visitors on the, programmes, activities and initiatives of his Organization. Ambassador also used the opportunity to answer various questions raised by the Pakistani top bureaucrats about his organization.

The delegation in turn briefed the Secretary-General on the objectives, activities and plans of the National Management College during the visit. Further to that, activities carried out in 2022 and the programs for 2023 were also discussed.

It would be recalled that another delegation from National Management College, a Constituent unit of National School of Public Policy (NSPP) of Pakistan visited the D-8 Secretariat in July last year. The delegation were on study tour to Istanbul, the Republic of Türkiye.
