Global Digital Trade conference and Advanced Training on Digital Trade (Cross-Border E-Commerce) among the Belt and Road Countries held in China

The China Association for Trade in Service (CATIS) and the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) jointly organized Global Digital Trade conference and the advanced training on Digital Trade (Cross-Border E-Commerce) among the Belt and Road countries from 6 to 9 November 2018 in Shanghai and Suzhou, China. The conference and training programme were attended by professionals, trade experts, students, government and private sector representatives and information technology experts from around 50 countries. The IT Expert in the D-8 Secretariat, Mr. Sheikh Mohammed Moinuddin participated in the conference and training programme.

The objective of the training programme is to empower a pool of trainers who can spread within their countries the knowledge learned from the course in respect of policy making and skill development that is needed to promote digital trade in their respective countries.

14.Best Partners of Global Brands, Sharing new opportunities for Cross-border E-Commerce in China

At the end of the training session, UNCTAD and CATIS jointly issued certificates to the trainees.
