D-8 Secretary-General Dr. Seyed AliMohammad Mousavi has congratulated Mr. Joko Widodo on the auspicious occasion of his election to the highest office of Presidency of the Republic of Indonesia. 

Mousavi in his message has said that with the decisive result of the July 9 Presidential election, the people of Indonesia have entrusted him with the confidence and leadership to guide the nation to an enlightened future. He has expressed high hope that Indonesia’s engagement with the D-8 Organization for Economic Cooperation will be more intensive than ever before.

Mousavi wished Mr. Joko Widodo health, happiness, and success in his new capacity as the leader of Indonesia.
