D-8 Secretary-General, Seyed Ali Mohammad Mousavi, paid a courtesy visit to Research Center for Islamic History, Art and Culture (IRCICA), the subsidiary organ of the Organisation of the Islamic Cooperation (OIC), and met with the Director General, Dr. Halit Eren on 6 March 2014 at IRCICA’s headquarters located in the historical Yildiz Palace in Besiktas, Istanbul.
Dr. Mousavi exchanged views with Dr. Eren on the areas of potential future cooperation between the two organizations. During his visit, he was informed of the historical works and the studies being conducted at the Center. Secretary-General Mousavi, at the end of his program, signed the IRCICAs special book. Director General Eren later presented a Quran which was attributed to Ali b. Abi Talib, the copy of Sanaa.
