D-8 Secretariat offered its felicitations on the occasion of the 43rd anniversary of the National and Independence day of Bangladesh and wished the people and Government of Bangladesh warmest congratulations. 

In a congratulatory note addressed to D-8 Commissioner of Bangladesh and copied to the Ambassador and Consulate General in Turkey, Secretary-General  Mousavi expressed his high appreciation for Bangladesh’s active membership in the D-8 Organization since its inception back in 1997, and wished its further strengthening in the years to come. Mousavi also drew on the excellent relations between Bangladesh and the D-8 Secretariat, and emphasized the anticipation for much closer liaison and cooperation in the future.
