Administrative, Legal and Internal Issues
Mr. Nasir Aminu, joined the Nigerian Foreign Service in 1997. He served in different capacities in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Nigeria. Among key positions, he was the Minister/Head of Chancery at the Embassy of Nigeria in Seoul, Republic of Korea; Assistant Director International Affairs/Protocol in the office of the Vice President, State House, Abuja; and Minister Counsellor/Head of Chancery and Charge D'affaires ad Interim at the Embassy of Nigeria in Amman, Jordan. He was also Head of Foreign Desk in the News and Current Affairs Department of the Africa Independent Television in Lagos before joining the Foreign Service.
Mr. Aminu holds a Master’s Degree in Development Studies from Bayero University, Kano, a Master’s Degree in International Relations and Strategic Studies from the University of Jos and a B. Sc. Degree in Political Science from Bayero University, Kano.
Mr. Aminu has several publications to his credit and has written a number of articles in the fields of foreign policy, regional economic integration and development as well as trade and investment.
